A festival pass costs 55 euros (reduced: 45 euros) and is valid for all film programs except for the Plattenfilme screenings. Reduced-price passes are available for students, pupils, trainees, and persons with disabilities upon presentation of a valid ID.
The festival pass does not serve as an admission ticket. A ticket for each program must be obtained at the evening box office upon presentation of the pass. A seat is only guaranteed with a valid ticket.
The festival pass must always be presented at the cinema entrance, along with the ticket.
During the festival, tickets and festival passes can be purchased at all venues during box office hours.

Become a Volunteer
Join the team for the 31st Short Film Week! As a volunteer, you’ll help with cinema admission, the info desk, the bar, or distributing flyers and posters.
For each shift, you’ll receive two free tickets for the Short Film Week. After completing four shifts, you’ll even get a team accreditation, granting free access to all regular events.
A team briefing and shift scheduling will take place in early March.

Looking for Helping Hands
Host (inter-)national guests
As every year, we’re expecting around 100 filmmakers from the region, Germany, and all over the world to present their work in Regensburg. And we need hosts!
Do you have a guest room, a sofa bed, or a free room in a shared apartment in or near downtown Regensburg with good transport connections? We’re mainly looking for accommodation between March 20 and 27, 2025.
For each hosted night, you’ll receive two free tickets for the Short Film Week. Superhosts can even get a festival pass, granting free access to all regular film events.

Bye Bye Bayernfenster
Starting this year, Bavarian productions will be integrated into the German Competition, where they will compete on equal footing for the three awards presented in this category.
All Bavarian productions submitted to us in 2024 have already been evaluated for the German Competition, which we are now expanding to five programs.
We would like to thank the FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, which has awarded the Short Film Promotion Prize for a Bavarian-produced or -set short film for more than two decades, supporting the discovery and promotion of young film talents.
