A SINGLE
LIFE

Under the theme A Single Life, this film program focuses on themes of transience, loneliness, and hope. Through condensed, stirring, and moving short films, it offers a glimpse into the lives of the oldest and most vulnerable members of our society—highlighting the need for dignified treatment and a heightened awareness of their realities. The films tell stories of relatives grappling with bureaucratic hurdles in the classification for care, of people providing end-of-life support, and even of humorous moments that can occur after death, all the way to the final resting place. Despite the often somber themes, the program radiates optimism and reminds us of the importance of empathy and care. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the *Hospiz-Verein Regensburg e.V.*, which will be personally introduced by its chairwoman, Bettina Callies.
