CLERMONT-FERRAND
FESTIVAL

Since 1969, the twinning between Clermont-Ferrand and Regensburg has fostered numerous friendly relationships and successful collaborations. In Clermont-Ferrand, the Festival du Court-Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand was established in the early 1980s, soon becoming one of the largest short film festivals in the world. This was reason enough for the city of Regensburg to introduce the Arbeitskreis Film Regensburg e.V. to their friends from Auvergne in 1993 and to entrust the association with organizing a festival for Regensburg. Both festivals now enjoy international renown. This guest program from Clermont-Ferrand presents award-winning works from categories such as Best Animation, Best Comedy, Audience Favorite, and Special Jury Prize from the 45th edition of our partner festival.
