"Loop Me In" provides four dense minutes: a space, an entrance and exit in rigid frontality, two rapid cuts moving closer. The title refers to keeping someone in the info loop – up to date. We are in a white-tiled room, which, despite its emptiness, contains or summons so much information that mental images unfold: Are we in a clinic? In a bathroom or perhaps a cell, even a slaughterhouse? Trapped in the loop of eerie associations. And indeed, a grotesque dark figure comes around the corner...

The filmmaker remembers endless buffets with ice sculptures and soft ice cream when he thinks back to the 1995 cruise with his parents. Back then, nobody thought about the impact cruise ships would have on our planet. Since then, they have tripled in size and capacity. In a single day, a cruise ship emits as much particulate matter as a million cars. Without consistently implemented international laws, the cruise industry will continue to block possible solutions.

After her boyfriend cancels on her at the last minute, the protagonist meets another young woman who seems to have had a similar experience. Spontaneously, they decide to spend the night together, and as the evening unfolds, the two young adults grow closer. What matters is the moment.
