IN MOTION

Agris is a documentary short film that takes a look at the winter fields of a community-supported agriculture. It observes the atmosphere, structures and materialities of the place and the work carried out there by the gardeners.

This experimental animated film depicts the process of reliving a memory – and the disintegration that follows – through a series of associative images. Through the effect of its images, the film attempts to lead viewers into a hypnotic mental and emotional state, where they can experience the manifold character of memory, and the pleasant, yet ephemeral joys of descending into our recollections.

The woman and the man are in a room, a gecko sits in a terrarium, several flies are circling a lamp. Gradually we find more and more dependencies and analogies between their activities and observed elements as the rhythm of their universes accelerates. The microcosms shown seem to interact rhythmically and belong to some cosmic order.

What Are We? Where Are We Going? Or Should I shower with my socks on? Will I face any consequences? If yes, that's great! In a visually colorful labyrinth of observations, the protagonists try to make sense of nonsense - or they stay mindlessly in it.
