DANCE 
FILMS

This year's dance films are themed "Living Spaces." In collaboration with Wagner Moreira, the dance director and chief choreographer of Theater Regensburg, we present nine short films that explore the interplay between dance, nature, and urban environments. Whether set in breathtaking landscapes or within urban structures, these spaces influence the dancers' movements and evoke emotions that are transferred to the body. The films tell stories of isolation and escape, refuge and security, demonstrating how dance as an expressive medium merges with its surroundings. On March 21, Wagner Moreira will offer a half-hour warm-up session at W1 to prepare the audience for the film program.
